Private Pay. Paid plans are billed to your card through Stripe. Monthly plans are charged on your enrollment date each month. Annual plans are charged once a year. By subscribing you authorize Luminari Education, LLC to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Free Trial. New paid accounts require a valid payment method at signup and include a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. Your first charge occurs on the day after the trial ends ("day 8") unless you cancel before then. You may cancel at any time during the trial for no charge.
Failed Payments. If a charge is declined, we automatically retry your card up to three times. If payment still cannot be collected, your account is downgraded to the free plan and paid features are locked until you update your payment method. Your data is always kept.
You may cancel future billing at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, stops all future charges, and drops your account to the free plan while keeping all of your data.
Once a billing period has been charged, that period is final: it cannot be cancelled mid-period, and it is non-refundable. You may cancel to prevent future charges, but the period already billed runs to its end.
No refunds. We do not offer refunds. All payments are non-refundable, including your current billing period at the time of cancellation and all prior periods of enrollment. You may submit a refund request by emailing hello@luminari.school; we will review it and, where appropriate, submit it for consideration. Refund requests are not guaranteed, may be declined, and any approval is at our sole and absolute discretion. Nothing above limits any refund right that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Keep your own backup. Your data is always kept while your account exists, but we strongly recommend you download and keep your own copy from within the app ("Your data" → "Download all my data," plus the printable PDF report) so a complete backup is always yours.
